Installation/Performance/Interactive Piece I sit at a desk with mouth taped, so demonstrably mute. People sit, if they want, and write down a memory or event they didn’t like, or an action they were ashamed of, or a secret that burdens them. I tip-ex over the text. I write a new event/memory to replace it….

Great news! With the support of an Unlimited Commission, Breathing Room is being developed for touring to summer festivals, urban light festivals, and gallery spaces in 2020, and will premier at co-commissioning festival IF 2020. I am lucky enough to be working with producer Kate McStraw and Production Manager Tom Richmond. We also welcome on board…
So… in a surprise turn of unlikely events, this happened… watch this space, I guess. Show in Jan 2022, which will tour to Aberdeen Art Gallery and Newlyn Gallery in Penzance.
Secured my first ever bit of substantial funding – very exciting! It’s a research and development grant from Unlimited. Working in collaboration with Clive Doherty at Festive Road I have been awarded money to develop my Breathing Room concept further – possibly for outdoor use and touring. Watch this space!
